Hello all. Soooo much to talk about and so little a vocabulary to do it with

My plans for last weekend were altered a bit on Friday by my dog. Meaning: he was sick again. So, it was off to the vet. He gave him some shot to calm him down and he was out for the night. I decided to give Pete a call to see what he was doing (since I was in town). I ended up meeting him and some of his friends at a bar right next door to where I work, Kclingers. If you haven't been and you like, no love beer, this is the place to go. 600 different types. The food was good also, but to be honest if you are there for the food there is something wrong with you ;p After that I went home to tend to the groggy dog.

On Saturday Loki was given a clean bill of health and I was off to State College like the absent parent I am ;p Saturday became a mission for me. Fit 48 hours of fun into 18 hours. Mission accomplished!! I have my brother, and the girls at the Phoenix to thank for that. Beer pong, loud music, many attractive co-eds....ahhhhh. I was home again :) On a side note: I still rule at pong:) Kathryne: I still say we should have won that last game. Anywho.... I had a great time. I even have pictures to prove it. My question is, who took the pictures? I only ask because I seem to be in a lot of them. Oh well....still was fun and I did get my camera back after each picture. The evening ended way to fast for me. Decided not to head back to my brother's place since the ladies offered me a spot at their apt. Thank you Melissa for the use of your bed.

Fast forward to today...

I get home from work to find my dog has gotten sick, again! So, the food goes away, the water is limited and the vet is called. I have to take a half day tomorrow to get some tests run on Loki. I want this fixed now. I don't know what's wrong and the vet doesn't seem to be much help. It may be time to get a second opinion. Hopefully the tests they run tomorrow will bring something to light that they missed during the last visit. Hrmmph.

Work went well today. We all joke that we are doing paid Ph.D. work at this point. Everything we learn now is purely for us. I have learned a lot so if this all ends tomorrow at least I have the experiences to take with me. The technology will stay with FCI and I won't be allowed to talk to my next employer about it. At least not directly :) So if anyone needs a young process/support engineer who has a background in passive fiber optic device manufacturing give me a call.

Not much else to talk about right now. I am going to lay down and take a nap with the dog. Good night
