Wow! One month to the day. I feel like such the bad blogger. All and all things are good right now. Add a girlfriend to the picture and I would be set :)

In the last month I purchased another car, planned a NASCAR trip, and met way too many people that went to PSU at the same time as me. Through the 6 degrees of separation I knew a bunch of them as well. Weird.

First the car. I did buy my grandfather’s Blazer. The price was right and I needed a new toy ;) Unfortunately it needed a little work done on it. Consequently I haven’t been able to drive it much. I should be getting it back tomorrow. It’s been at the shop for a little over 2 weeks now. I miss it. When I get it back it will be like a birthday present to myself, I guess. Anywho….

The NASCAR thing was sort of out of the blue. My friend Michelle from PSU called and asked if I wanted to go. I didn’t have anything planned so I said, “Sure. What the hell.” So, on Sept 6,7 and 8 I will be in Richmond, VA getting ready for, watching, and recovering from a day of racing. I can’t wait.!!!

I met some new neighbors in my development. Two couples from Penn State. All are around my age. It is VERY weird hanging out with engaged people. I feel I have nothing to contribute to most of their conversations. I'm actually the oldest in age but I feel somewhat more immature then them. Plus, I always feel like the 5th wheel. Can you be a 5th wheel? Maybe a more appropriate saying would be: I feel like a unicycle in a bike race. Nah. 5th wheel is better.

This weekend I heading down to Stone Harbor, NJ with my family and my dog. Hopefully Loki likes the beach. Otherwise he will be very bored and house bound. I have a feeling he won’t want to leave ;) My brother is bringing his girlfriend and his roommate with him. While I, as usual, will be bringing my golf clubs ;p Hmmm, what does this say ;) Maybe I’ll run into a cute golf chick who likes guys who can’t putt. One can dream.

Side note: I have now developed a very , VERY deep hatred towards Hilde. I keep hoping that the carpenter on the show builds a fake wall that falls over and crushes her. I have a sneaking suspicion that her feet would curl up like the witch in Oz. Hmmm, again one can dream.

That’s all I have time to write today as I am nodding off as I type this. Long day, short evening. Lack of sleep is not fun. Friday can’t come fast enough.

I will try to write more often in the future. (Promises Promises)

Good night!
