Well, I learned a few things over the weekend. Some good, some bad, but all very useful. First, my friends from college who live in Pittsburgh still like me! This is good. We haven't talked for a while due to hectic schedules. Paranoid me thought I did something stupid last time I saw them. Next, and this is a bad one, I can't imbibe like I used to. I mean physically I can drink it all, I just don't recover the same way. The whole group found that out the hard way. Hangovers-a-plenty. No puking (good) but no energy either(bad). God bless homecoming weekend.
So, after a couple of fun days it was back to work. 2 operations in 2 days. Two patients helped :) I love my job! Back at the office the pace has been frantic to say the least. Rush orders to get ready, trouble shooting problems in the OR over the phone, and just generally getting all my projects to progress in an orderly manner. College prepared me for NONE of this. I take that back. I used V=IR today. I remember that being taught at some point.
Anywho....It seems as though the weather decided to give me a few more nice days in which to put my body at risk! Sunny with a high in the low 60's for the next few days. If you try to contact me [I don't know why you would :) ] before sundown it's a good bet that I will out riding. Ah, with the change in temp there are no bugs to splat against my face shield. That's what happiness is :)
Anyone looking for a good emerging band should check out Axum. A friend of mine from college is the lead singer. Rock on Tim. Give 'em a listen (It isn't like the music I listened to in high school. No "dun nuh nuh nuh death" here, I promise.)
That's all from my end. Later all.
